Is it beach season 2006 already? How did that happen!. It’s been a whirl-wind year… Paris to St. John, Florida to New York City. And nothing beats coming back out to Montauk and sinking into the calming blues of our ocean and sky. This year, I realized everything that sooths me is right in my own backyard so I painted the store a gentle sea glass color that makes me breath easier. Then I went shopping (!!!) and I know you’re going to love what I’ve found! Loads of clothes are relaxed and comfortable. Breezy silk and cotton dresses, perfect white shirts that can take you from the beach to the bar-b-cue, fluid skirts and sarongs you’ll want to live in. Shorts and sandals, too! The bags are big and wonderful, except when they’re small and sophisticated. The jewelry is totally exotic, except for when it’s delicate, feminine and utterly original. And, every week we’re getting more.

This season is funky beach modern! Sure, you can sink into a super-cozy chaise lounge from Shabby chic. Then let the sunshine in –with our bright, beachy orange, yellow, red and turquoise dressers. Add a modern twist with a Lucite table, a chrome lamp or hat rack. And if you’re looking for the perfect gift, we’ve got amazing blue and golden tumblers, the most wonderful candles, wooden salad bowls, and salad servers, cool placemats our famous hula lamps, and those great boat wood frames – everything you and your pals need for that little shack.
